Copycat by Erica Spindler

adventurous dark mysterious tense fast-paced

4.0

You’re on the brink of catching the killer of little girls and suddenly everything comes crashing down around you. This is the experience that Detective Kitt Lundgren experienced. What she doesn’t know is that the killer she was close to watching years ago, is back and dragging her along with him. Find out how Kitt’s past hinders her in finding this new killer on the loose.

This is the first book by Erica Spindler that I read and it will NOT be my last. This book kept me on my toes. I loved how Spindler would show little snippets of the killer's mind throughout the book. However, just because she shows those, doesn’t me you have an idea who the killer actually is. I just about suspected everyone throughout the book, but it was NOT who I thought it was.

This is a well-written book that has many curves throughout it that are unexpected.

TW: Child death, brutality

Overall, this is a great book and I can’t want to read more from this author!
