A Good Girl's Guide to Murder by Holly Jackson

4.0

This was very nearly a super strong 3 star for me purely because it’s a young adult book through and through and I am not a young adult! However, the story is way too good to be insulted with a 3 star rating. Loved the mixed media chapters as it really broke it all up and kept it fresh and moving along. Really well written, the story flows well and we’re given just enough info (and red herrings!) to keep you hooked - I was into it from the start but I literally could not put it down from the halfway point. Only lost the star because of the style of book/writing but that is purely my personal preference and if you like a young adult mystery thriller book then this will be a 5 star for you!
TW: pet death. Literally broke my heart so be warned!
