Ghost Knight by Cornelia Funke

4.0

Rating: 4 stars

Review: Despite Ghost Knight’s large size, I breezed through the story in only a short period of time. The plot was fun and engaging even though I always knew that everything would work out alright in the end. The protagonist underwent real development, although not major development, and the books pacing kept the story moving at a brisk pace. Some grisly details about ghosts, hanging, and blood make the book something that particularly squeamish readers may want to avoid, and the occasional swear word mars the otherwise clean story. On the whole, Ghost Knight was an entertaining read but not a particularly masterful or extraordinary book.
