The Only Good Indians by Stephen Graham Jones

4.0

"Fun" isn't the right word, but I appreciated this book. Set up as a series of overlapping stories all involving a pervasive haunting, this was an interesting horror novel. Each character was sketched similarly, as an Indian with ambitions that are then threatened by a mysterious force. But even with this, they still felt solid and specific rather than generalized allegorical roles. Certainly a book for writers and readers of several stripes.
