I think the strongest moments in these stories is when a situation is left ambiguous or the heroes are shown to be fallible. While I can often appreciate the sentiment of each story, they can at times feel dated. For instance, the story about the problems of overpopulation does not address at all our economic system which intentionally keeps people from necessities. I also feel the writer relies on stereotypes even when trying to highlight the horrors of bigotry, which undercuts the effectiveness of the stories. That being said the storytelling itself and the decision to cover current events still feels like an innovative decision
