A-Force, Volume 1: Hypertime by Kelly Thompson, Marguerite Bennett, Jorge Molina, G. Willow Wilson, Jim Cheung

4.0

I adored A-Force: Hypertime. The core of this story is the characters and I adored seeing them in this volume. The team dynamics were fun and I'm so hyped to continue on with the A-Force series.

I didn't particularly like A-Force: Warzones. I didn't know or understand the characters. The team dynamic was unclear and the story felt rushed with a lot of emotional beats that didn't hit me because I felt lost about the characters. Hypertime however distinctly characterizes our main characters and has much more down time to establish the different personalities of our team members and how they work together. I had a much firmer understanding of the characters.

The story follows Singularity who was my FAVOURITE character in the previous volume. She is the most pure and loveable character I've read in a while and I adored seeing her make her way in this world and find friends.

I loved this volume. I'm attached to the story and the characters and I can't wait to see where it goes
