"Read the World" challenges nearly uniformally neglect indigenous nations. This challenge is for folks who want to augment their reading to include indigenous nations of the United States. I've named the top 14 American Indian and Alaskan Native tribes by population according to the 2020 census, with 6 wildcards to represent one of the other 900+ federally recognized and non-recognized tribes. For each entry, read a book written by an author who self-indentifies as a member of the Nation.
