Overview
I have been following along with Steven James Reese's 50 Books from 50 States challenge on Instagram and wanted a place to track the reads.
Each of the 50 books must take place (for the majority of the book) in that state. They can be fiction or nonfiction. So far, when I am creating this (about 7 states in), it seems as though each book has been chosen for having some cultural significance related to that state.
For example, for Georgia, he read Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil. This book is so popular in Savannah, GA, that to many it is just known as "the book." For Maine, a Stephen King book was chosen, as he is from Maine. For Maryland, a book by Wes Moore, the current governor of the state, was chosen. etc.
