Overview
Challenge created by Book Roasts in 2019 but I just found it and wanted to add it to a StoryGraph challenge. The Acceptable grade in each subject is marked as mandatory and Exceeds Expectations and Outstanding have been marked as bonuses but follow the career guide (below) and complete the tests necessary for your chosen occupation. This challenge is untimed. Enjoy! Check out the O.W.L. challenge here. And check out the video for the challenge here.
This is a Harry Potter inspired readathon, but even if you haven’t read the books or are not a fan you are still welcome to take part, everyone is welcome in the magical community!

The readathon is based around the exams students take at Hogwarts. The O.W.L.s (Ordinary Wizarding Levels) and the N.E.W.T.s (Nastily Exhausting Wizarding Tests).
To give participants something to aim for a career guide is provided, featuring some of the many careers one can follow in the wizarding world. To keep us excited, some new careers will be added every year!
Along with the careers descriptions, this guide will detail the subjects you need to take to pursue them.
A study guide, which contains all of the subjects and what you will need to do to pass the exams, is below. Otherwise known as reading prompts ;)
Each A unlocks the possibility to gain an E, and so on. Thus, in order to achieve an Outstanding you first must earn an A and an E, in that particular order. There is no cross-over or doubling up on reads allowed.
