Ultimately I found this book to be very disappointing. I can't go into any specifics because they would give away the bad guy. Suffice it to say that there was no complexity to the plot or characters. Everything just sort of fell into place and - Dang it! I can't write what I was going to because it would give too much away.

If you're looking for a quick, easy read where you don't have to do any thinking or deduction, you may enjoy this one. It mostly made me want to shake most of the main characters and yell at them.

I received this book from the publisher through NetGalley.

This book was a war between hackers, of hackers hacking hackers. With the Internet not being as secure as it needs, the United States faces a different kind of threat, a different kind of war, one in using our technology against us. It is about how far would one go to protect one's family. Would you be able to turn against the one person whom you love and trust the most?
Overall I rated this book four stars out of five. This was an awesome, suspenseful read. It had me sitting on the edge of my seat to see where the story would go next. What made this book great and kind of scary was this story is so extremely realistic and I can see this story being played out in real life. This book covered so many current topics, and it had such strong character development. Actually it is one of those books that would be a great movie. The only thing negative I can say were that parts of it was a little too cheesy, for my liking. But I am very happy that I chose to read this book, as I enjoyed reading it from the beginning to end.
I would like to thank Netgalley, Lynn Lipinski, and Majestic Content for giving me the opportunity to read this book in exchange for an honest review.

Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for an advance copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

I’m sure that the title tells you what you need to know. To sum it up, a terrorist organization writes a computer program that releases a worm that uses the internet to hijack he power grid, water supply and banking. The premise of the book was interesting, as I’m sure we are vulnerable to cyberattack. It’s probably not a matter of if, but a matter of when. Not being a techie, some of this was over my head. The book was predictable, though; you figure out early on who the villain is, the romantic angle, etc. My hope was that the author would delve deeper into the chaos that would ensue when power, water and banking is no longer in our control. The ending leaves the book open for Part II, which hopefully won't be so predictable.

I could not put this book down. It is scary how real all of it is or could be. This book really makes you think of how vulnerable we would be here in the United States if a terrorist group were to hack into and control our internet. This book is fast paced and will hold your attention to the very last word. There was a lot of technical stuff that went over my head, but the author wrote it in such a way that you didn't lose anything from the story if you aren't tech savvy. I would say this is definitely a must-read for all those suspense lovers out there.
