Picked this one up because it's based in a familiar haunt and was glad I did. It definitely shows the creative strain of a freshman effort, especially after the early part in the book when the pieces are set, but it's an entertaining enough read with a few interesting twists at the end. It was also neat to see Ocean City portrayed offseason, something I'm familiar with but many who venture there between Memorial Day and Labor Day are not. I'll check out the sequel at some point.
