I relate to the all too real experience of putting fictional men from my youth on a pedestal that real men could never reach.

Fun and quick read!!!

I think Mindy Kahling is hilarious and this essay did not disappoint. A tasty morsel to read while waiting for my husband.

same girl

From Coach Taylor to single parenting, all I could think was…Same girl, same. Friday Night Lights is my most favorite show, solely because of the character Kyle Chandler played so well. My friends' well meaning titty-tatter does nothing but make me glad to be single right now. The tv remote is mine, as are both nightstands and all the blankets. Unfortunately, the parenting decisions still have to be shared.

Being a single mother is perfectly acceptable, and Mindy is here to explain why. Although, at times, there are some benefits to having a husband. Short lady problems.

As a single mom, I think this book touches on a lot good topics but it doesn't quite hit the mark for me.

Adorei a forma como a narradora / protagonista coloca as vantagens e desvantagens de ter um marido. Concordo com ela, principalmente no que concerne às desvantagens, e acho que ainda acrescentaria algumas, hehe. Muito bom.
