After most of the mess of Brand New Day got sorted out in the last book it is nice to kind of hit the reset button and have a book that almost feels like classic Spidey. He works with the Fantastic 4 and then spends a lot of time pissing of JJJ. It doesn't get much more classic then that. The wolverine story in here is great. It shows why the two work well together and is touching in a simple way. Worth a read for that story alone.

Ah, now that's more like it. There's 2 team up stories here: one with Wolverine, one with the Fantastic Four. Also there's plenty J. Jonah Jameson vs. Spidey sparring. Quite a few humiliating experiences for Peter. And Spidey does what he does best, quip, fight, and do the responsible thing no matter the cost.

Spider-Man teams up with the Fantastic Four in this one, and that scene where Peter allows them to remember him? Oh, the feels. It makes me curious about how they're going to deal with that in the MCU, because that Peter Parker got it way worse. Way way worse.

We also get the smallest hint of MJ coming back, and now J. Jonah Jameson is the mayor, which I always knew happened but didn't know how. Overall, a great volume that I thoroughly enjoyed!

The Fantastic Four story is the best part of this volume, going some way to redeem the clumsy One More Day retcon but it unfortunately fizzles out. The rest of the collection feels stuck between storylines, possibly more the fault of editorial than the writers.

Nothing particularly special about this, just kind of all-around good (albeit with a strangely abrupt segue into the next storyline).

I liked this book.

This is about Peter Parker and the Fantastic 4 going about something that is going to change their future. When Spidey's done doing things with the Fantastic 4 he realizes that things are not the same and now he is going to be able to mess with J. Jonah Jameson.

It was a fun book and I liked that Spidey did in this book. It was interesting to see what he was doing with the Fantastic 4 and how that shaped what they have to deal when they got back from their adventure. I liked the characters that we got to meet in this book they were all interesting and was a fun adventure.

I liked the story and all the things that Spider Man does when he gets back and messes with J. Jonah Jameson for all that he dealt with before he went on the adventure with the Fantastic 4. The banter that Spider Man has with the Torch was funny and entertaining even if it did bother the other members of the Fantastic 4.

I had a fun time reading this book.

Finally! This has been in my "currently reading" shelf for a year (almost to the date). Did it take me a year to read it? No, I want and read a whole lot of Dark Reign tie-ins... at this pace I will never catch up!
