This was gonna get my usual 2-star for being an interesting topic (I'm not a mother or kid enjoyer (in fact, I'm virulently anti-natalist) or on Instagram, but examining motherhood and influencer culture is worth thinking about) but poorly written about that all these pop nonfiction are these days (I can't speak enough about the tonal and vocabulary problems these mediocre writers all exhibit) (another one of those books where the bibliography would make far more worthwhile reading), but it loses the grace star for the absolutely UNHINGED screed about "white" feminism.The word you are looking for is "liberal." Other critical reviews cover the rest of my complaints about how this subject matter was handled.
