Really enjoyed the information she shared about running her business and evolving her brand. The book inspired me to read more food memoirs and purchase her first cookbook, The Barefoot Contessa Cookbook. Looking forward to trying the recipes she shares in the book.

Definitely slowed down on the second half, but on the whole, listening to Ina give life advice and talk about cooking felt like spending time with your cool aunt who lives abroad. we love diverse female role models

I really loved this memoir!! Ina is so different from what I assumed watching her show as a kid. She’s so resilient, funny, and feminist and it just made me relate to and love her even more. Her reciprocal love for Jeffrey is also really sweet to see.
