Definitely slowed down on the second half, but on the whole, listening to Ina give life advice and talk about cooking felt like spending time with your cool aunt who lives abroad. we love diverse female role models

I really loved this memoir!! Ina is so different from what I assumed watching her show as a kid. She’s so resilient, funny, and feminist and it just made me relate to and love her even more. Her reciprocal love for Jeffrey is also really sweet to see.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️  I’m normally pretty skeptical of memoirs read by the author, but this one was <chef’s kiss> (pun intended.)  I’ve loved her since college, when her Food Network show was my decompression go-to, and it was a lovely look behind the scenes.

That Covid Cosmo gave me life, and the story behind it was charming.

Oh I love this memoir so much! I love seeing all the different lives she lived! Going to business school, renovating houses in dc, traveling all over Europe, living in Japan, getting pilot license, and opening a business.

She made me believe in myself and my own doings! She reminds me that she did the things she loved and the luck came with it. But it’s true where it’s not just luck! It’s her grit and determination in everything!!

She’s so inspiring and I want to become an extraordinary person just like her 😭
