I loved this issue of Firefly. But I kind of knew that would happen – I’ve loved almost everything they’ve put out to continue the series. Even in comic form it’s perfect.
This issue in particular did a fantastic job of showing the dynamics of Zoe and Walsh’s relationship. It’s so easy to forget the reasons why they work so perfectly together…until something like that happens and I’m reminded all over again. It was perfect.
There’s a lot happening in this series, but there always is for this crew. The odds are always stacked against them, and there’s almost always somebody trying to kill them. Not to mention all the agents trying to recapture River. It’s a mess all right.
I love the new perspective we’re gaining on the characters. Every new situation tells me something about each of them. Honestly, I don’t think I’ll ever get enough of this series.

Whoah! That got dark. Mal and Zoe have some serious ghosts from the war. Just what did they do?
