WHY HASN'T EVERYONE READ THESE? I think I blame the terrible reprint covers.
I want to be Helene for Halloween, except it never occurs to me to say things like "Is this a private riot, or can I buy a ticket to it?" Also, the hair would be tricky.
I did miss Von Flanagan in this one, but all the amazing Malone moments - particularly the Hercules bits, and lines like "One is a murder, two is a sex slaying, three is a massacre" - soften the blow.
