I loved the added detail of red during certain scenes. As well as the strong contrast of the blue room and Offred's red dress. Towards the end of the book I felt like I missed a page or that there was a weird time jump. I also wish some things were more clear, but maybe that's explained in the novel and the show.

Ouch. The illustrations were great and the story was sad

While I do prefer the depictions of characters in the Hulu series of “A Handmaid’s Tale”, I still enjoyed reading this adaptation! The art style was interesting and rather lovely, albeit dark (suitable for the themes).
