3.5 Off to a good start stars!

The book opened with Alice and Mick seeing each other again at a friends party for the weekend. It becomes obvious then that Alice and Mick were in an intensely passionate relationship which ended badly. How the relationship started or how it ended wasn't revealed yet except that Mick couldn't give Alice what she wanted. Again, it wasn't revealed what exactly what Alice wanted but the readers can pretty much guess what they are.

This was a pretty good start for what promises to be an emotional serial about two people finding each other again. I'm a sucker for a good second chance romance, so it's no surprise I enjoyed this. This was fairly short but it feels longer to me because Megan Hart is a great story teller that she managed to pack just enough details to satisfy our curiosity but at the same time leave us wanting for more.

An ARC was provided by St.Martin's Griffin in exchange for an honest review.
