A quick and a bit inconsequential read, with little insights and a few inspirational quotes worth noting.

The gist of it is that doing nothing is not at all worthless, and that even when we think we do nothing, our minds are quietly at play, leading to valuable results in the end. There are references to artists, their works and routines. Also, there is the notion of getting lost, or losing oneself, as in losing one's purpose in order to allow the possibility for unexpected discovery.

The conclusion is that there is no such thing as doing nothing, and that whenever we use that phrase we don't mean it in the literal sense. The book is an exploration of the many senses one may mean when saying that they are doing nothing.
