I liked this book a lot. Assisted suicide gone seriously wrong and a murder occurs…followed by more murder and Felix Pink seems to stay ahead of all of it. Very entertaining.

Bauer's writing style improved a lot since The Beautiful Dead and I'm very grateful for that. The plot itself didn't hold much of my attention and I was expecting a thriller but got more of a comedy, but this novel was enjoyable enough. I don't like reading about gullible, stupid people, so of course I didn't like Felix Pink much but the book moved along quickly and held my attention.

Not something I would reach for again, but a fun read overall.
