What can I say? I'm a sucker for second chance romance. The only thing really keeping me from giving this 5 stars was I think Alex gave in to Chance far too easily. Oh and I wanted to punch Cliff in the face myself. What a jerk always guilting and coercing Chance into doing things he doesn't want by calling him selfish, but guilting and coercing people to do what you want so you can make a ton of cash is selfish, so you need to be taking a good hard look in the mirror Cliff!

I'm wondering if the guy (was the band Three Deaf Mice?!) who mentioned he's going through a divorce is going to get a book? Seemed like they might be touring with Armageddon Showdown, and I'm wondering if his mentioning a divorce was a bit of foreshadowing?

I loved that both Alex and Chance had troubles they had to work through. It made them more real. I did how ever feel that Alex was a drama queen with little regard towards Chance's struggles. This almost had me giving up halfway through, but I powered through and ended up actually liking the story.

Rock star - check. M/M relationship - check!

When the author asked if I would be interested in reviewing her Shooting Stars series for her, it was a no brainer. My two favourite genres all rolled into one - sign me up!

And I was not disappointed

9 years after he left him, Alex has his past thrown in his face when he hears a song he wrote for his ex boyfriend playing on the radio.

Chance left Alex in less than perfect circumstances and pursued his career. Now an uber-famous rock star, he pretty much betrays Alex by recording said song.

Alex's career allows him to find a way to confront Chance - and boy to sparks fly!!

Alex and Chance together are super hot! There are so many feelings simmering beneath the exterior calm, for both men. The chemistry between them is palpable, you just know that things are going to be explosive between them - but will it be a in a good way or a bad way?

There are so many emotions in Forever is Now... love and hate, lust, fear, betrayal. There is more at stake for Chance and Alex then just their hearts. It may have been nearly a decade since they saw each other, but things have just intensified in all that time.

The whole time I wanted the pair to get their act together. At one time or another I wanted to scream at them to wake up to themselves, I wanted to hug them, I wanted them to communicate! Gah!

I loved the rest of Chase's band, they are the best of both worlds, fiercest critics but staunchest defenders. I also like most of Alex's co-workers though there are some that I just did not like from the beginning and and the story went on my dislike was justified.

Can Alex and Chase overcome what has happened in their past and have a future together?

For that you will have to read for yourself

Kimber Vale wrote a great story of young love in this book. Sometimes when we are young, we believe we are in love and that love will conquer all. Once we grow up and get some life experience, we realize that real life is much harder than our parents ever let on. I think Chance and Alex needed their time apart so they could live their individual dreams before they tried to merge them together. As much as it hurt them both to be apart all those years, it also made them realize that they didn’t want to be apart like that again.

I REALLY enjoyed this book! Alex and Chance were high school sweethearts who didn't stay that way. 9 years later, after much anger, Alex initiates a reunion with the now famous rock star with no intent to reconnect. I was a little surprised at first with how quickly they reunited, but it was clear they had very strong feelings for each other. This was very well written and kept me engaged throughout. I disliked Miles from the first time I met him. I hate him now. :-) Great story, great characters. Can't wait to read the next book!

Quick hot rock star read. A few of my fav tropes - rock star and second chance. Really liked the writing. Great characters. Would have liked a little more depth but still a terrific read. The chemistry between Chance and Alex just crackled!! That equipment bus scene - needed to put my head in the freezer!! Will definitely check out the others in the series.

I didn't actually enjoy this one that much. I thought Chance was a petulant selfish jerkface and it baffles me why Alex is so hung up on him. Alex can and should require better. I thought the big drama could be seen coming from a zillion miles away. It might've been avoided had Alex been an adult and had a grown up conversation.
