No, no, no...
Elizabeth has no character development outside of her relationship to Leo. We barely know about her job or past cases, and her parents don't make thipeir only appearance until 81% of the way through the book. Her friend is married to Leo's friend, so he's pretty much always there. Leo's character development isn't really better but he gets his mom present. His child, Hudson, is barely on the page. I think this book gave the minimum of a story, and it would have been better if the legnth had been longer.
