Although this is a book by Max Lucado teaching of God's love and God's acceptance, I have used this every year to develop a sense of family and caring for one another in my classroom. I read it to the kids at the beginning of the year and then we do it again after Christmas break as a reminder. I think this book has an exceptional message whether you are a believer or not.

¡Qué bonito!
Una muy buena lectura, súper ligera y perfecta para esos días que no nos sentimos bien con nosotros mismos.

This sweet story is a great reminder that we are special. We have our own gifts and talents, but when we focus on comparisons, we will never feel like we measure up.
This is a story that I loved when I was younger, but have grown to love even more as an adult.

This was a very sweet, cute story. Each person is Wemmicksville is unique, and I actually enjoyed the illustrations. They were super bright, and eye-catching, but it was still so cute. This story teaches you that everyone is unique and special in their own way, and not to worry about what other people think about you.

This is a great book for young kids, and older kids alike.

What a wonderful little fable! And it so easily and powerfully teaches important lessons, of love, and tolerance, and diversity, and self-esteem, and our relationship with God. Oriented to children, I will admit that it affected me as powerfully as it did my kids. I found myself thinking of the lessons it taught, and seeking to understand them better through additional reading, thought, and careful introspection.
