The Sky at Night: Book of the Moon – A Guide to Our Closest Neighbour by Maggie Aderin-Pocock

Dr. Maggie Aderin-Pocock gives a lot of information in an often humorous way. I love the description of tidal locking like a creepy waltz around the solar system! I have been looking up lots of references from the book, including art and stories. My only complaint is that it would have been nice to see more real photos of the moon though the book.

Such an interesting book to read! Only thing is (not the fault of the book of course) was that I forgot most of the mind-blowing facts pretty much straight away, so on the bright side it's very re-readable. The only thing I would of changed is if it was simplified even more. I really liked that we could feel the writer's personality through the book and Maggie Aderin-Pocock is definitely a role-model for anyone who wants to enter that field of work.
