I’m willing to throw this book at the next president if the stars aligned.

Would be three stars if it wasn't so hilarious. This book is definitely, in no way a serious work of history, or even history at all. Rather, it's a series of side-splitting essays in the genre of Drunk History , with amazing illustrations the personify the "MURICA" meme. Crass, rude, and worth a read.

This book has zero redeeming qualities. It sounds like it was written by a teenager who flunked English lit class. I think it's a perfect example of why not every famous person should write a book, and why people should stop buying books just because they're written by someone mildly successful in Hollywood. I did not finish it and do not intend to waste my time doing so. But from 1/5 I've been able to power through, I gathered that the author doesn't really reveal outrageous facts about past presidents as much as makes regular facts that are more or less well known sound outrageous by using an indecent amount of hyperbole

I picked this book up while at a friends house, and thought hmmm. I wasn't sure what to think of it as first, as I was not prepared for it to be a humorous book (note to self, read back cover). But was pleasantly surprised with it. While you will not get details of top secret information, or how to solve the national debt, you will get several "hmmm that was an interesting fact" moments throughout the book. It did lead me to do a little digging on my own, which was a plus in my mind. If a book can get me interested enough to do my own research, I feel it was worth my while in reading it.

Super comical way to teach readers about presidents.
