It was a great concept, but it was just missing something for me. Oliver was easy to relate to, but Flora fell kinda flat, and Kelsey and Joey were very annoying. Seeing as this is a debut novel, I didn't expect it to be perfect, but I expected more then this.

Highly disappointing read. The book isn't so much of a romance as the cover states. There was hardly any romance at all (they only kissed twice). I bought this book in hopes of an actual love story, but was ultimately dissatisfied. When "quarantine" comes to mind, one may think of an interesting prison-like place (or anything fascinating). But the "quarantine" environment is only a room split in half by a curtain. Obviously, not outstandingly compelling. If there is anything worthwhile to read, it probably isn't this.

This book was pretty fun to read! It feels like now is a very fitting time to read a book set during a quarantine period. It was also a good way of passing time whilst in my own lockdown (though not quite as strict a quarantine)

I want to start off by saying this book wasn't that bad. Reading it while *actually being in quarantine* made some things not making sense, but I get it. Not being put in that kind of situation, it was a bit hard to write it 100% accurate. That’s why I gave the book 4 stars because I ignored the misconceptions about quarantine.

In any case, the characters were a bit annoying at some point.
1. I really liked Oliver but at some point, before the ending, I was ready to throw hands.
2. Flora - Oh gosh, she really had me hating on her at first, but then, really, I realised she was the beat character. For real.
3. Joey - I kinda liked him at first, but then he became a Smart ass and annoyed me.
4. I’m not even judging Kelsey, we all know she’s the worst.

overall, a nice book, easily read!! Recommend.

This wasn't horrible but was closer to a 2.5. It was a quick read and parts of it were good, but a lot of it was cringey and I didn't care much for any of the characters except maybe Goldy. Flora's family dynamics were really interesting. But most of the interesting stuff happened off the page. Unsurprisingly, the two MCs have a "romance" but it felt super forced and was just so... cringey? But, it's also a cute, quick read if you're not looking for deep connections and I can see quite a few teenagers vibing with this. (or, at least some of my super romance obsessed friends in high school would have loved it while I pretended to for their sake)

it’s almost the same exact plot as her other plot, very boring

This was a cute, quick read. The story was nice, albeit predictable. I thought Kelsey’s character was a bit over the top, and I was confused about Joey’s role. I did appreciate the development of the relationship between Flora and Oliver. They were quirky in a compatible way. Overall, an enjoyable first read of the year.
