Another very strong installment in the series. Surprisingly serious story with an unusual setup that is perfectly fitting the needs of the plot.

The mystery in this one is very sad, but the book is a page turner.

The first novel in this series was excellent, this is even better.
I was glad to catch with Jane, her friends and to travel to Cambridge, Massachusetts.
This is an excellent cozy mystery with something more because it features some very current topics and I appreciated how the author dealt with them.
The mystery is complex, tense, and full of twists. The solution surprised me and I loved it.
The characters are fleshed out and likeable, the setting is lovely
I can't wait to read the next book in this series, this one is highly recommended.
Many thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for this ARC, all opinions are mine

This book had a novel and terrifying concept. I liked the writing and it was cute!

A fun book. Jane has started her business (as a busybody) in full swing. Her new young neighbor comes to her because she might be going crazy. Jane warns her neighbor that she's not a doctor, but helps.
The book isn't hard to figure out, but I enjoyed the ride and learning more about Jane. I liked how previous characters show up and how Jane isn't just working on one neighborhood fight.
I recommend this light, fun read.

3.5 stars. I like Jane Darrowfield very much. She is older and has a lot of common sense. I also like the supporting characters of her bridge club and detective Tony. I was engaged until the very end. Then I felt a little let down. I figured out part of who the bad guy was early on, but the author left so much of his rationale open. I don't always need a neatly tied up ending but this one seemed to need more of an explanation.
