I won an ARC of this book from Goodreads.

This cover might be my favorite book cover ever. It is stunning. This book is beautifully written and really draws you in. This is a fascinating examine of grief. The characters are so dynamic. I also have moved up Sweden to the top of my vacation dream list after the wonderful descriptions.

This book is heavy, raw, and real. I had to pause at times to process what was happening. This story will definitely stick with me for a while.

This book was incredible to read! I found myself getting lost in the world within the pages. Beautifully written with immense detail and explanation, it would be hard not to visualize it all. A really wonderful and sometimes melancholy plot about friendship and grief. This book was so good it was sad to learn its only Diane's first novel, I am looking forward to what she writes next.

this was such a well written story, however i found that it dragged too much and made the story itself boring. part of that being reading from the main character’s point of view. she came off insufferable tbh.
