This story was a breath of fresh air. I loved every single page of this book, it was impossible to put down!
The main characters go through a path of growth and self-discovery but what I loved most about their story was that it wasn't linear. They didn't go from A to Z straight-away, there wasn't a single fix to their problems. Rather, there was a lot of back and forth which made it much more realistic and refreshing to read.
The whole concept of the bromance book club was amazing. I'm so glad this isn't a standalone!

Thank you to Edelweiss and Berkley for the digital galley of The Bromance Book Club.

Gavin Scott is trying to save his marriage. His fellow teammates have devised a plan to help him do just that. Enter, the book club. A group of professional baseball players who read romance novels in order to get into the minds of women and find out just what it is that women want.

I adored this novel. It was fun and sweet and funny without the cringe that romance novels often have. The idea that men would go to these lengths to be good husbands is heart warming.

Gavin is a great male lead. He is imperfect and humble. He loves his wife and his family. His wife Thea is a perfect example of a woman who has lost her way through babies and a marriage to a professional athlete. Even though most people aren't professional athletes, the two are dealing with real relationship problems that most married couples could easily relate to.

Gavin's fellow bromance book clubbers are all endearing and like able and the dynamic of the group is really fun.

I am looking forward to reading the next book in the series!

✧ oh he also believes women should not change themselves for the man they love !!!!!!!!!!!
✧ he used the little mermaid as an example and how the message of it is wrong for little girls because they could get the assumption that they need to change for them which um, no, you shouldn't
✧ protect the bromance club including del, yan, the russian, and everyone else
✧ BASEBALL
