If you are planning on visiting the Redwood National Forest or State Park, buy Good Night Redwoods. I actually found this very interesting to read about and was surprised by some of the information in it. For example, I didn't know that some Redwoods are so old that dinosaurs were still alive, and half of coastal redwood trees' water can come from fog. The authors included different animals, a park ranger, and ecologists. I loved the illustrations for this book. I am going to be putting this on Emmett's wishlist because it is a great read.
