I came across this book completely by accident but this beautiful cover said "you need to read me". And I did. Was it a good decision? Sure.

Some of the stories are very good, they could be extended into a longer novella. It was a fast read and even though I didn't like a few stories it was easy to go through them to the next one.

My favorite stories are A Friend In Need..., Red Nose And A Party Dress, Happy Accidents, and Clicking.

Thanks to BookSirens for the e-arc. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

I usually don't read short stories, so this was an interesting change of pace for me.

Some were funnier and more interesting than others (so a longer story would have also been enjoyable to get to know the characters better, but this is not how short stories work, I know…).

I did enjoy the fact that some were longer than others, especially as I sometimes had to read in between short breaks, to make sure I would review on time :)

Favourites were A Friend in Need, Shelf Help (I would not mind a fully fledge story for that one!), and Mr. Regret.

I had a great time dipping into these delightful stories in between my novel reading (my preferred way to read short story collections). These were the perfect palette cleansers. They were always surprising and yes, they got my lips twitching into a smile. Imaginative, bawdy, and charming, I'd recommend these stories to anyone who needs a pick-me-up.

I received the ARC for this collection as part of a book tour held by Break Even Books, in return for an honest review. And honestly, I absolutely loved everything about this. February has been an incredibly rough and stressful month for me and these stories were just the laughs and just the thing I needed. Every story was different from each other - and different from anything I had ever read. Almost every one made me laugh out loud. It was just a wonderful slice of life. Highly recommend to anyone who needs a good laugh in their life. (Video review coming soon with spoiler free story descriptions.)
