Solid 3.5. Not as engaging as others in the series but I love the world that Chambers has created. A fun read!

It was so so awesome being back in the universe Becky Chambers created!! I continue to be in awe at her ability to create completely believable and fully realized alien cultures. This wasn't my favourite of hers but I still loved it wholeheartedly for the joy it brought me! I will say, I am so so sad this is the last book in the Wayfarers series but I'm very excited for what she writes next.

“Theft is a long proud tradition for many museums.” Again, I appreciate the social commentary in Chambers’ books, and liked this one better than the last one of the Wayfarer series. The idea of some diverse sapiens working together, getting to know each other and their customs, disagreeing and arguing with each other, all because they were trapped by unforeseen circumstances, it was just the kind of thing that I think Chambers does best.
