I hate the enemies to lovers trope, and the kid version ("nemesis to friends," as Galaxy Jones puts it) is just as bad in my opinion.

BUT.

I ended up really enjoying it. When they got past all the banter and when Galaxy got her head out of her butt, it was a super sweet story of how to grapple with change, both in your world and in yourself.

A sweet little enemies to friends fairytale space romp. So whimsical and sweet that it’ll hurt your teeth. A bit simplistic and repetitive at times but I am very much not the target audience for this book so take it with a grain of salt. Will I sell it to the middle grade audience at the bookstore where I work? That’s an emphatic yes <3
