Oh I just love Taylor! She is feisty and determined. She know what she wants and doesn’t take no for an answer. Saber is struggling with his busted leg and trying to find ways of coping with his injury. Taylor does her own thing and helps him get stronger. I love the way we learn more about the bigger picture. Good book and story!!

Taylor's story is my fave, because she has been the most fun character throughout this series so far. If you're reading this series make sure you don't miss this one!

I should just copy and paste my last review. It’s frustrating because I feel like this author is immensely creative in terms of creating a story and plot, but she’s just missing the opportunity to really develop this into an epic space opera.

My biggest gripe in this one is there are so many open ended items. Like the author added possible dramatic points, but didn’t resolve them. I’m not talking the major plot ‘cliff hanger’ that I assume will lead into the rest of the series, but rather smaller items pertaining just to Saber and Taylor. For example: what happened to Buzz? Did Ace consider a challenge (it really seemed like he would)? Did they complete their ceremony? What was the last item she added to her list???? That one really got me. I thought for sure it was going to be something good with how it was framed in the story, but apparently not?

Also there are clearly a ton of references to the author’s other series in this book and I haven’t read any of them so I was pretty lost by the end.

Anyway, the rest of the audiobooks aren’t on audible escape so this was probably my last one.

I thought this one would be better than the last but it was okay. I still enjoyed listening to it though. Each story builds the plot up and beings new characters into play. Although, I like the narrator I would like to hear a woman voice when a woman speaks, I think i would connect with them better. Overall, it's a good read and I will continue to series as there is still much to learn about the war that is looming over all of them.

I have been waiting for Taylor/Saber ever since Hunters Claim. I knew Taylor was too young but I loved their banter. Although I loved this book enough to give it 4 stars, I do feel a bit cheated.

First, FIVE years!?? Really? That long for Saber to change his tune? I was actually missing the scenes between them, the quarreling. It seemed the love story was snowed under by all the action and adventure. And it all seemed so easy after all the pain and Taylor's trying for years.

Still love them, but I hope to hear MUCH more about them in the next books!

As always I cannot get enough of S.E. Smith's stories. I was so happy about Saber and Taylor's story. It was full of plenty of action, romance and lots of humor. Taylor keeps Saber on his toes for sure. I loved that characters from the Kassisan series were overlapping into this one. I look forward to more of the Alliance and the crossovers as well.
