A humorous adventure filled with social satire makes it a joy to read even 100 years later. I must admit being a big Wells fan for all of his books. Most modern-day readers do not realize the prominent role Wells played in literature for the first quarter of the 20th century. Regardless of the genre, Wells always comes across with a lightness, not heavy-handed.
