This was such a fast (finished it in less than an hour) and cute read. I can see why so many people loved this, it does deserve the hype that it is getting.

I feel like there were things missing within this story, but that is how I feel when reading most graphic novels since it is kinda of up to interpretation when looking through the images. I think that if I read [b:Solitaire|20618110|Solitaire|Alice Oseman|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1390416741l/20618110._SY75_.jpg|39901420] first (since that is apparently where we meet these characters) I would have had a better background going in to this. Even with that said, you don't need to read that before picking this up.

Charlie and Nick are both so cute and their friendship is precious. This is a good story of exploring ones' sexuality, while in high school where people can be judgmental and not understand the relationship. You could see that with the "jocks" of this book when either talking behind both of the guys' backs or to Nick specifically.

The art style was adorable as well you could tell that this was meant to be a lighthearted ya mm romance. I feel like some of the facial expressions that Charlie made were a little confusing, or I might have interpreted them incorrectly, but other than that it was very enjoyable.

Also that ending though! UGH! Why you gotta do that to me Alice Oseman?! And it's not available for purchase on Amazon for a physical copy!

A foray back into graphic novels for me that was well worth it! Loved the character development and the pace of the story! Would definitely recommend!
