I'll admit, there are a lot of similar stories out there (and I've read them). Two feuding wine families but a Romeo and Juliet romance that goes wrong but they are still drawn to each other many years later. It doesn't matter what's out there that's similar, this book was a must read. I haven't read any of the others in the series but there was great character development, wonderful story telling, and a great romance between Jules and Liam. Wonderful read and I'm excited to actually start at the beginning and see how this family started.

OK here comes the end.
I was disappointed with it.
Now you know why family feud lasts for centuries... 10 years after the Tuscany fall out they finally get to resolve it.
I didn't quite get why he is so sure he is like his dad...
I didn't quite get why she was so sure her problem (<- trying not to spoil here... ^^") was doomed.

I don't get how come Grace could help when it wasn't Kohl that had misplaced something (<- trying not to spoil here, again... ^^").

etcetera etcetera...

I almost liked better Kohl and Grace story.

My thoughts:
This is the third and final book about the 3 Baci Sisters from Napa Valley. It can easily be read as a stand alone (though I did read book 2 but I have not read book 1 yet.)

Giuliana "Jules" Baci fell in love when she was young, but their love story came to a halt and they have not been civil to each other for ten years. Why they broke up is a mystery to everyone else and to the reader. Back to the characters, Jules is the mother hen for her two younger sisters, and Liam is still in her life as he owns a share of the winery and his half-brother is married to her sister. These two sure can not get along and I did wonder what on earth made them like that, but little by little we understand what happened that fateful summer so long ago.

Jules has a lot on her plate. She is a strong woman but at the same time there is sadness over her cos of the things she has lost. While Liam also is portrayed as strong and the one who is doing the chasing. He wants her or just wants her out of his system. I do like a good lovers reunited story and these two clearly love each other and always have. But then there is that summer....

There is also other things going on. What will happen to the winery? And a slowly building romance between Kohl who works at the winery and Grace who also works there. I liked this story because they both had big emotional scars. Grace had been abused and Kohl was traumatized from the war.

Conclusion:
A lovely romance about lovers who find their way back to each other, and at the same time we get a second love story playing in the background. It was very enjoyable and sweet.

Rating:
Sweet summer read

Review to comeLiam Bennett and Giuliana Baci have been circling each other for the past year. Whenever the two of them are in the vicinity of the other, they barbs seem to fly. What's behind those barbs are anyone's guess.

Guiliana figures she only has four more weeks at the family winery before she can cut her losses and deal with unfinished business between she and Liam. Although her sister's may not like what's she's planning, she'll keep the promise she made to her mother as she was dying and take care of her sisters.

Liam has learned to be good at keeping secrets. His father taught him from a young age about keeping secrets. While he wants to deal with the issues hanging over his relationship with Giuliana, he can't bear to share the secrets that played such a large part in their history.

Secrets have a way of weaseling their way out and soon everything is out in the open. Will any of it make a difference and finally allow Liam and Giuliana have the life they hoped for?

I was a little disappointed with this one? I have been waiting for this book since I read the Allie and Penn's story 18 months ago. I just KNEW there was more going on between these two characters than what we were seeing in the other 2 books. While their involvement was just as I had suspected, the hostility and the secrets were just a little too much for me.

I did love the secondary story with Kohl and Grace, although I'm not really sure what Kohl's blackouts were about. Did they have a point or were they just there as a diversionary tactic from the real culprit of the vandalism going on in town?

Don't get me wrong, this was still a good story, but it was a bit disappointing ending to the series.

The ending to the whole series was amazing, made me believe that never run away from second chances. :)

I didn't enjoy this as much as the precious two. I was really excited to finally find out the story behind all the tension between Liam and Guiliana. Unfortunately I wasn't as wowed as I expected to be. I think part of my problem might have been my high expectations.

Finally, we get the story of Giuliana, the oldest Baci sister, and Liam Bennett. As the heavy hints placed in the two previous books in the series promised, Liam and Jules have a romantic past. They have to work through that here. She just wants to fulfill her obligation to her sisters (she promised that they could try for a year to bring their family vineyard back to its original glory) and then get out of town. Seeing Liam is just too painful. But Liam has some ideas of his own. He wants Giuliana back and will do almost anything to get her back, including having her pretend that they're still together so that the Vow-Over weekend will go as planned.

A sweet contemporary about lovers to enemies to lovers, all with the backdrop of a beautiful Napa winery. I enjoyed it a lot.
