Three short stories that tie together Dowser 8 & 9, and I loved every minute! Each story from a different character, perspective, and voice. Each character dealing with epic challenges. Fast-paced, gripping, and full of suspense. Can't wait to start Dowser 9!

Loved learning more

It was awesome to learn more about some of the newer characters and see them interact with each other. I wasn’t ready for it to end (I never am). Another book well written by Meghan.

I enjoyed seeing different points of view from the Dowser world, and I especially liked hearing Mory's POV since that was a first. However, BEau annoyed me just as much as he always has, Jasmine was inconsistent, and the twist in the end with Benjamin was frustrating.

I think this is an awesome set up for future books from different points of view after Jade's story wraps up, but otherwise this seemed a little like "filler." I LOVE Mory though; looking forward the most to her arc.

Ok, while this wasn't one of my fave installments of the series, I did enjoy getting some in-depth info on the upcoming battle. It was good to learn a little more about the "fledglings" and discover they're not totally worthless. It was good to learn that they've been trained well by their elders and superiors. Looking forward to the battle, which I'm sure will prove to an action packed, page turner. I just have this dreadful feeling though that not all of the warriors make it out alive.
