This was not what I thought. I am having a hard time rating it. There were so many great lines, but this felt less like poetry and more like a prompt book created from a long drawn out stream of consciousness. There were parts that bordered on old school dada work, but then they would lose stride, and I’d forget what I was even reading about. This honestly wasn’t for me, but I am giving it 3 stars based on the individual lines and not the collection as a whole piece of writing, which probably is not logical, but I feel quite confused. Also htf do I get Lemony Snicket to rate my books, please?
