Icewind Dale trilogy #3
Drizzt series #6
I've been enjoying reading through this fantasy adventure series. It is very simple and straight forward journey, fighting and party companions.

With Regis in the hands of the evil Artemis Entreri (can I ask why authors keep making men with this name be evil?) Drizzt and Bruenor need to travel and save him (poor Regis, this is his thing... he gets to be the damsel in distress all the time). The fight scenes are sharp and full of tension and evocatively described scenes, which is what really sells a lot of these stories to me.

Started strong but veered off into racism and sexism halfway through. Also weirdly shoved an event in the epilogue that deserves its own book

A little better than I remember it from my first reading - this trilogy been my first foray into franchise fiction.
