Is it weird? Yes. Is it, as the publisher describes, 'heart-warming?' Not exactly. But I enjoyed the story -- which would be PERFECT (just strange and whimsical enough) for a Pixar short.

This book has almost exclusively white folks in it, and the only POC is a pizza delivery person. There was a kid in the pool in one scene who seemed to be a POC, and maybe a judge in the end of the book. But, ultimately, this book is racist and classist.
