Sometimes I felt he read a bit too much into things, but other times it was really insightful. I also enjoyed learning so many cool facts about the body.

Read this as we studied the human body- but the real richness of the book is its insights into the Body of Christ. Excellent.

This book really rejuvenated the metaphor of the Body of Christ for me. Sometimes it is so overused that it becomes cliche and abstract, but the examples given in the book left me with both a new understanding of God's creative power in humans and the purpose of the Church as the body of Christ.
