What I thought about this book - This was a cute little read. I enjoyed the two new characters in this series. Looking forward to seeing more glimpses of guests from his wonderful B&B. August is a wonderful character, a librarian who loves books and wants to feel pretty. The Oaks B&B is the perfect place for him to find his true self. Another well-written book with a fantastic plot. Overall another wonderful book.

This was a nice short story. Just when August finally gets the courage to try out his more feminine wardrobe everything seems to go wrong but the house and the weather won’t let him run away. Jan just wants to spoil August and show him that he adores him but some uncomfortable communication makes it hard to do. I thought Jan was so sweet to August and they both have the opportunity for a relationship that they have never had before (even if it was due to different reasons).
