Cool. As much as I prefer the 2003 turtles, this mashup works and I want to read more of this series.

Based on the hit Nickelodean show - Teenage mutant ninja turtles ,and the famous , best cartoon show of all time , - Batman the animated series . This issue gives a fun filled ride and a mix of nostalgia as Batman is trying to track 6 villains who have mysteriously escaped via Arkham Asylum.
While investigating Batman manages to re capture Two-face and gets a hint that suggest that there may be something fishy going on and even stumbles across a portal of energy .
Meanwhile Turtles and April get alerted of another portal nearby and possibly a return of Kraang , but it's not Kraang that awaits them but something else entirely .
a brilliant debut of the series and it does look like it will get better with time as the art work is a throwback to the batman the animated series and the Nick TV show with some of the jokes being a tad bit hit and miss but overall a fantastic issue
