I loved how it had a big emphasis on sisterhood. How we often wish for something else than what we have, and how we can appreciate each others differences.

Fans of Frozen will love this book. Elsa and Anna discuss how they always used to want a sister more like them while growing up, but now that they're older they're starting to appreciate their differences. You get both Elsa and Anna's voices and the illustrations are beautiful. Plus, this is all told in a musical, sing-song rhyme. I'm only counting this as 4 stars because I don't see this being reread often on my part, but that could easily be different for super fans of the film.

The cutest illustrations! And I love that little play on the colours of the words as Anna and Elsa perspective.

Numpang baca di toko buku gara-gara nunggu bokap nyari tabloid lama banget *alesannya gak banget ya

Suka banget sama ceritanya. Gambarnya bagus. Recommended banget buat dibaca ke anak-anak pas mau tidur, atau buat anaknya baca sendiri. Apalagi buat penggemar Frozen.

This was so not my impression of Elsa from the movies.

I got to read this today after a sweet little 3 year old bombarded me & forced me to. I don't actually care for Frozen, but this book is cute. The art is adorable & it focuses purely on their relationship as sisters. It's pretty much the exact story as the film, but without any of the extra plot points that weren't terribly important, imo.

It's written in a way that alternates between Anna & Elsa speaking, with colours helping to differentiate. The problem with that, though, is that occasionally the words don't actually stick to that rule so it can be confusing.

Highly recommended to any child that loves Frozen. I don't see any reason why a frozen-obsessed kid WOULDN'T like it.

(And I'm counting this in my reading challenge cause I did totally read it. Even though the little girl I was reading it to kept interrupting me & almost didn't let me finish it. But I did!!)
