Anthologies of short stories are often pretty uneven but I enjoyed almost every one of these short, short pieces; a few were very touching and several laugh-aloud funny. Highly recommended.

I bought this book in college for a lit class, which only required us to read one of these short stories, and never got around to reading the rest.
That one short story for the class was my favorite by the end of this collection, but there were a few other jems.

A wonderful and entertaining collection of short-short stories. My favorites were "Blood," "My Lawrence," "Pompeii," "In Reference to Your Recent Communications," "Rosa Blanca," "Mud," "Reply All," and "The Gold Lunch."
