I went through a BIG Haddix stage. I read most of her books and even met her. This one was pretty good, with the whole trying to remember what's happened and what hasn't.

This was my first Margaret Peterson Haddix book that I had ever read. Although I was young when I read it, Haddix stayed my favorite author for a long time after reading this. It was a complete page turner; It had my attention from the very first chapter!

I thought Haddix did a great job on this one, except there were some times that I could not read any more, it was so boring. The ending was the best part with all the action.
Favorite Character: Kira

This book perhaps got far-fetched toward the end, but Haddix convinced me to suspend disbelief an ability that, in retrospect, I'm quite envious of. Suspense is built quite nicely in this book, and there are secrets upon secrets, and overall it's done quite well.

This book was ok. - Didn't have the extra to make it wonderful.
