It's been a long long while since I last read a book in this series and I'd forgotten how much I enjoy them!

This is a short story about how Maggie and Killian are roped into dealing with a ghost that's causing trouble on Halloween.

It turns out that
Spoilerthe ghost is that of a ship captain who, having no other way to communicate with people, had been doing his best to annoy someone enough to get them to follow him to the well where his little granddaughter had fallen. Maggie and Killian come to her rescue and all's well that ends well for all involved - except for the dress of Mindy's collector's edition teddy bear that Maggie used to disguise Pipistrelle from human eyes
.

Maggie is amusingly grumpy, Killian is still naive in the ways of humans, the secondary characters are colorful and the plots are engaging and fun. I'm looking forward to more of their adventures!
